Cute Faces

How can you not love that face? We just can't get enough of him! Brett's new job has allowed him to be home more at night, which is great for Mom because Cade is ready for a new face by the end of the day! He loves playing with Dad and will even smile for him!

This is Cade working on a project (one he's getting very good at, I might add)!

Even though Mom and Dad are still new to parenting, they're loving every minute of it (especially since he started sleeping through the night about a month ago)! We've settled into our new home and even hung pictures on the wall for our first "occasion." We had Brett's sister's baby shower at our house on Saturday, and Cade can't wait to have a cousin here soon!

Baby Blessing

The weekend of March 22nd came and went quickly as we traveled to Utah to stay for two days, then traveled the 10 hours back! Even though our stay was short, it was worth it. The blessing was beautiful, and the company spectacular. It was wonderful to see friends and family and wished we were only closer. The phrase "absence makes the heart grow fonder," is becoming more and more true.

You have to look closely, but there was enough hair there to trim it! It was a little "mullet-ish" in the back, and a little scraggly on top, but Mom took care of it with a few snips!

Time of Our Lives

Wow! Our lives have been in a whirlwind these last few months! October 2008 Brett was offered a new job at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories in Pullman, Washington. January 25th, 2009 we welcomed our new bundle of joy (and diapers, and bottles, and blankets......) into our home, Cade Allen Udy. Two weeks later, we moved to Pullman. We're now in our new home and both Mom and Dad are loving their new jobs (Mom gets to stay home with Cade)! He's brought many smiles into our lives and the grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, have all had fun spoiling him!

It's a bird......it's a plane......it's Cade! Ready or not, Dad's teaching him to fly!
