Trip to Utah

A few weeks ago we headed to Utah for the 13 1/2 hour drive (you can make it in 10 without kids)! We had lots of fun and took lots of pictures, so we'll post half now and half later (nap times are only so long)! Thanks to everyone who made our trip so fun!

Cade's first time watching a movie in the car. Brilliant invention.

We gave Cade a Christmas present a little early so he could wear it on the four-wheeler. He loved it so much, that he wore it for lots of other activities, like coloring. Safety first!

Our little German boy all dressed in Lederhosen, at Swiss Days.
Thanks for the fun costume Grandma!

Watching the parade with Dad. (He loves parades!)

Evidence that we eat like royalty at the cabin! Thanks to all the aunts  who make our delicious meals!

Catching some Z's.

What a view, huh?

Roasting 'mallows.

Can we say, "spoiled rotten?" (as long as it doesn't wear off on his teeth!)

Singing some songs around the campfire.

Cade on the "for-veever" with Dad.

Uncle Kevin did a fine job moving rocks out of Cade's way.
"Thanks Tevin for ticking wocks!"

If Grandma looks cold, it's because she usually is.

The cast...

...the wait...

...and a good family picture despite coming away empty handed!

McCall did a really good job of rocking everyone to sleep.

One last ride on the for-veever!

Random

Here's a few random pictures of our lives as of late!

Brett's pride and joy - the fruit of our labors - raspberries off our very own bushes!

Cade thought it was pretty neat to have his baby sister in his bed.

This was the best "Sunday morning" picture I could get.
(Cade's still learning how to "hold" her.)

This is what McCall thought about the idea.

Sleepy girl

Striking a pose

"Does this angle make me look fat?"

Finally some swim time!

This is how he outfitted himself before getting into pajamas. (Love the pose!)
He would take his baseball attire and gear everywhere if we let him!

Ever since Cade was tiny, he's been wearing "silly hats." This is McCall's first!
(It's actually an outfit that's not pulled down over her head yet - I thought it made a lovely sun hat!)
