Pumpkin Patch #2

Grandma and Grandpa Poll came up a couple weekends ago, and we went to another pumpkin patch at "The Red Barn!" It was a beautiful day and the fall colors were gorgeous! We came away with a few great "finds," some warm apple cider, and lots of fun pictures!

Loving the "apples" (that what he kept calling all the pumpkins)!

He would take them out, Dad would put them back!

Fun in the hay bale maze!

Grandma having fun too!

Hmmm..right or left...

Dead end.

Cute-crow, not scarecrow!

Twirling the pumpkin by the stem.

He thought this was so neat, he even tried to go through the front door!

Taking a 30 second break for a picture.

Our little pumpkin!

What a perfect fall day!

Unsure of why everyone keeps sticking his head through these holes!

Thanks for coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Pumpkin Patch #1

The first week in October, we went to the university's orchards to get pumpkins! We found out later that they were cheaper at the grocery store, but as Grandma Udy said, "25 cents for pumpkins, or 45 cents for memories!" Well, I guess that's cheap for memories, so we'll share a few pictures.

Searching for just the right one.

Mom liked this one.

Cousin Kent wasn't sure about the whole thing.

Mom, some of these pumpkins are a little prickly.

Trying to load and organize the loot.

So now what?

Trying to get a hay bale shot - Cade found it a little to "pokey."
Happy Harvest!
