A Little Big

Our little boy is getting bigger and started preschool a few weeks ago! (It's kind of an odd time of year to start, but we'd been on a waiting list and they opened an additional class to accommodate.) He wasn't sure about it when I dropped him off, but when I picked him him up he didn't want to leave! It's been really good for him and fun to watch him be a "big boy."

So cute

Mr. Silly Face

And this little girl is just happy to play all day!

Spreading the Love

It's been a while since I've made sugar cookies, so I was determined to at least make some for Valentines Day because, well, they just go together right? I think we all had fun in our own little way.

Cade was just happy to be a helper, who of course, did things on his own.

Brett was a trooper

Everything must get covered in flour, including one's self.

McCall was just happy to do her own thing while looking the part.

Sweet satisfaction

The workstation

Cade's final product.
(P.S. I was there, but left the one picture of myself out because
I was the only one still in  my pajamas that morning. On second thought, I think that's how it plays out every morning! Maybe one of these days I'll get ready BEFORE everyone else!)
Happy Valentines Day!

A Little More Christmas

We were lucky this year to be able to spend so much time with both sides of our family for Christmas! Here's some more of what our festivities looked like.

Checking out all the loot that Santa left.
(Take note that the first item McCall went for was the shoes,
following at a close second was her "pretties" or necklaces.)

By this time she had traded out the necklaces for her new apron,
and currently busy with one of her favorite activities - coloring.

Looking at a book with Grandma and Grandpa.
(You'll notice a different pair of shoes now adorn her feet.)

Taking a break with her new doll, puppy pillow, and baby blanket, which was mine as a child.

Meeting one of her new babies for the first time.

What would Christmas morning be with out a good game of golf?

Or even fishing?

The only thing that could make it better,
is if Dad pulled you around in a sled, in several feet of snow!
Mom came out for a bit too

This is the Christmas village I went to as a kid
(this picture doesn't really give you a very good perspective),
and it was fun to go back after several years. The kids were pretty good considering the FREEZING temperatures!

Here's one of the "houses."
Funny how everything seemed so much bigger as a child.

Hitchin' a ride
I was able to squeeze in a couple hours to see my five best friends in the whole world! It's hard to believe we were all in the same place at one time! Love you guys!

You would have thought Cade got a pot of gold when he opened this up!

Yay for more books!

Stealing Aunt LeAnn time from Addy

McCall was quite pleased with this dog that barks, jumps in a circle, and whimpers.
We were quite pleased that we don't have to feed it or take it on walks! (No offense Wiley)

An almost-good-picture of the girls

A very cute picture of the boys
(You may notice that this is the day Cade tried on several different things!)

Grandpa sandwich in new Cougar gear
(Oh and if you look very carefully, you can see that Uncle Lance was there too!)

McCall's first Cabbage Patch doll.
I was almost jealous.

Gotta love matching cousin presents

And cousins who are best friends!

A Merry Little Christmas

There are of course, lots of Christmas pictures, so in no particular order, here are a few! (I'll follow up with more.) Hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!

Getting pulled in Grandpa's sled

Loving every minute of being outside

Happy to spend a few minutes with Santa

Deep in thought

Wouldn't even look at him...

Wouldn't look at me either!
I got some cute pictures of Cade in front of the tree when he was about 1,
but this is all I could get of her.

Spending time with Uncle Jaque

And cousin McKinlee

Salt Lake Temple at dusk

Cade always refers to this temple as the place where we (Mom, Dad, Cade and McCall) got married.
I guess he's right!

Under the lights with Aunt Lindsay

If you tell your children, "Say cheese!" and these are the faces you get,
they're normal.

Maybe it's better to take them separately

Another beautiful shot

McCall enjoying a free ride

Not the best family picture, but at least we all match!

Again, she's not very cooperative in front of a Christmas tree, but we still love her!
