Christmas

Christmas was lots of fun and Santa became a little more real this year! Our festivities were spread out a little bit since our families don't live near each other, but that seems to make the holidays last a little longer and who doesn't love that? Most of these pictures are from our time spent in St. George where Brett's Grandma and Grandpa live. All of his siblings and spouses were able to come for all or part of the week and it was so fun being with everyone, even if it was a little loud and chaotic at times (mostly due to the four children under 3)! Hope the new year brings many joys to each of you!

Cade, Kent, and McCall sharing the iPad
(a favorite for the boys, but McCall seems to be picking it up quicker than expected!)

All snuggled up for a movie!

Believe it or not, this was one of the better pictures of the four cousins! Kent did a fantastic job of holding McCall's head so she didn't fall face forward (Kent has learned from experience, safety first!)

I had to take a picture of how Cade had arranged his nativity set.
Each figurine was almost always lined up, facing baby Jesus. Couldn't help but to find it cute.

Who knows, maybe this is how it really happened.

Like father, like son.

Love this picture! McCall sat like this, staring at Santa, for about 2 minutes. He was very accommodating while I snapped picture after picture. Even Santa's helpers were chuckling!

One thing I forgot to pack - a hat for Cade. Grandma Larsen pulled through with this one.
Only a two year old can make it look adorable! He was pretty excited to see Santa, even though he has no idea that you're supposed to tell him what you'd like for Christmas. He must think Santa is for picture-taking only!

Our two little elves.

Grandma and the boys waiting for the popcorn to pop (and eyeing the gingerbread house, covered in candy)!

McCall's first time swimming. If only we all looked so cute in a swimsuit!

McCall thought she was royalty sleeping on Grandma Larsen's King-sized bed.

Grandpa sandwich!

The whole crew

Addi had an extra special Christmas since she was able to be blessed that day. What an angel!

Cade could hardly keep up with the unwrapping. He wanted to play with everything he got!

Reading "If You Give a Dog a Donut." Love those books.

McCall got some new books as well. She couldn't be happier now that she has girl toys to play with!

One of our many gifts this year.

Best friends

Aunt Robin just couldn't resist wrapping one more box!

A common position for Kent.

A common position for Cade.
Both boys carried around their Mickey Mouse like it was their left arm!
We are all so spoiled and can't thank our families enough for their generosity! Love you!

Cousins Come to Town

We finally got to meet little Addy! LeAnn and Ammon came for a visit and the two boys, as always, had a blast, and McCall got to meet her new best friend! What a cutie!

The girls in their matching outfits.

A picture of Cade and Kent right after Kent was born. Ironic similarities huh?

The boys having a little 'tea party.' Thought it was pretty funny.
(sorry Ammon, you were sleeping and missed the whole thing!)

McCall in one of the play fire hats.

 Grandma and Cade

Cade riding Grandpa's new "snow removal" toy.

 Playing swords.

 Watching Mickey Mouse.

 Grandpa tickling McCall's nose.

 Grandpa sandwich!

 Playing with Grandpa's hats.

 Playing in the snow.

 Building a snowman.

Kent helped too, but got too cold before we finished. Ta-da!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles...and other stuff...

Yes, it's been a while. My apologies. We've just been living everyday life,
and here's some glimpses of it!

Brett had to part with his first love...his Civic. It was a great car for us, but we recently added a Honda Odyssey to our family (or rather, to transport our family) and we just didn't need three cars!
Sad Brett.
I attempted home made noodles for the first time, and Cade wanted to help.
I think they turned out quite delicious if I do say so myself!

Here's the airplane portion of our post.

I'm just in love with this little girl!

She's rolling all over the place, but what she really wants, is to run like her brother.

They both thought it was funny to be in the same bed.

Cade has been quite into trains. He was having a lot of  this particular day.

I found his little LEGO man taking a ride.

Hard at work.

Just a little photo creativity!

This is how I know he's done...the trains all derail.
