More Than A Blessing

We've had more than one blessing in the last few months. One being the birth of McCall, others include all the wonderful people who have helped us and shown their support in many ways. These pictures are from her blessing day at church which was very special. Thanks to all who celebrated it with us!

Fun with Family

Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Dan came to visit a few weekends ago, and here's a few of the fun things we did! It sure was fun! We welcome visitors any time!

Being a brave boy to go down the "big slide!"

Cade has talked about these "blocks at the park" for several weeks!

What could be better than blowing bubble AND swimming at the same time!

Lance and Robin's Wedding...Finally!

Lance and Robin finally got married (in May), and I'm finally posting pictures! Congratulations you two! It was a fun day for all of us and hope you can move back soon!

The 'love birds!'

The whole clan

ALMOST all of Cade's grandparents and great-grandparents!
(Great-Grandpa Weitzeil and Great-Grandma Poll missing)

Beautiful Spokane Temple

Stopping to smell the..little green plants!

Cade was suppose to take a ring down the isle, but unlike his Cousin Kent,
he got a little stage fright and Mom had to help.

Blowing bubbles with Grandma Poll at the reception.

Dancing with Grandma Udy, Cousin Kent and his Grandma Mills.

This is what Cade likes to call "free tisses!"
(3 kisses)

Grandma and Grandpa Poll were able to be here since it was a holiday weekend. Group hug!
(or as Cade says, "G-U-H hug!")

Celebrating Freedom

We celebrated the 4th of July very country-like this year. Pretty laid back and slow paced. We started the day off at the famous Johnson Parade! It's held on a narrow little street in the town of Johnson (well, it's more like a settlement really), with no curb and gutter, let alone a sidewalk. The parade goes up the street, then turns around and comes back down (while the first half is still making it's way up), and it lasted a total of about 30 minutes this year. It's actually draws quite a crowd and I think it will become a tradition in our family!
Aside from all the festivities, we truly are grateful for this free land in which we live, and the many men and women who have fought to make and keep it that way. "Oh say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?"

This is how McCall "watched" the parade

Grandma and Grandpa waiting for the parade to begin.

Cade wasn't sure of what he was waiting for, but he did it patiently!

Big brother

We ventured out with Cade to see how he liked fireworks. He liked the ones way off in the distance, but was not a fan of them up close. Once they started he buried his head into the blanket and did not want to look up. He never seemed bothered by the sound and ever since he's repeatedly told us, "BANG! BANG! A fireworks says!

Pre-Baby Projects

So a few months before McCall was born, I started a few projects. "I" soon turned to "we" since I couldn't use certain types of paint. Thanks to Brett's help, a few good finds on furniture, and a lot of paint and hours of work, we got some finished products that we're pretty pleased with!

I'm still searching for a book shelf to paint like the dresser, but for now I'm taking a break!
